Sea Hear Now This Weekend in Asbury Park

It’s that time of year again! Sea Hear Now, the two-day music festival performed along the Asbury Park Waterfront, will take place on September 14th and 15th. Whether you need more information about the performers, recommendations on where to eat, or a review of the schedule, keep reading to prepare yourself for this fun-filled weekend!

Who’s Performing?

There are some big names on the lineup this year. The Sea Hear Now headliners include folk artist Noah Kahan on Saturday and New Jersey native Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band on Sunday.

Kahan rose to fame relatively recently with the release of his hit song “Stick Season”  in July 2022. His third studio album, named after the lead single, followed in October 2o22, garnering much acclaim. Since then, Kahan has collaborated with major artists like Post Malone and Hozier and played two sold out shows at Fenway Park.

Springsteen is returning with his band to the place in which his debut album, “Greetings from Absury Park, N.J.,” was named after to headline. After regularly performing at the Stone Pony in the ’70s and early ’80s, Springsteen is stopping back on his world tour with the E Street Band while also hitting cities like Toronto, Milan, and Prague.

Aside from the headliners, The Black Crowes, 311, The Revivalists, The Gaslight Anthem, Trey Anastasio Band, and Norah Jones are also set to take the stage among more than thirty other artists and bands.

Where to Eat?

Sea Hear Now will have many food vendors available, most being Asbury Park favorites. These include Betty’s Icebox, Local 130 Seafood, Island Noodles, and plenty of other options. If you’re looking for more sit down options, Stella Marina Restaurant & Bar, Iron Whale, and Porta Asbury Park. Asbury Park and surrounding areas have countless eating options, sure to add to your festival experience!
