New Restaurants to Try This Summer at the Jersey Shore
The Jersey Shore is filled with delicious restaurants. From casual brunch spots to fine dining, there’s a variety of restaurants for every occasion. Though it’s tempting to stick to your tried-and-true favorite eateries, we’ve compiled a list of new, local restaurants to visit this summer.
The Promenade- Avon-by-the-Sea
The Promenade, located on the scenic Avon boardwalk, offers fine dining with stunning ocean views. Founded by the owners of Amelia’s by the Sea in Spring Lake, The Promenade is open every day from 7am-11pm. The Promenade serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Try a plethora of upscale entrees, from lobster ravioli to pan seared filet mignon.
Robin’s Nest- Belmar
Located on Main Street in Belmar, Robin’s Nest is a warm breakfast and lunch café open everyday from 6am-3pm. Enjoy a variety of breakfast staples like French toast, pancakes, eggs, and omelets, or stop by for sandwiches, salads, wraps, and burgers for lunch.
Honey Berry Café- Spring Lake
Open everyday from 7am-3pm, this charming brunch stop on 3rd Ave in Spring Lake offers sit-down tables, pickup service, and delivery. Formerly A.M. Kitchen, this new eatery opened a little over a month ago. Take a look at their expansive menu, featuring brioche French toast, chicken and waffles, and build your own burgers.
The Committed Pig- Manasquan (reopening)
The iconic burger and pancake house has a new location on Main Street in Manasquan, open Tuesday through Friday from 10am-10pm, Saturday from 9am-10pm, and Sunday 9am-3pm. Whether you’ve never been before or were patiently awaiting the reopening, The Committed Pig is a must-try. There are endless options of burgers, pancakes, grilled cheeses, and pork roll sandwiches. Don’t forget to order the waffle fries or sweet potato waffle fries!
Buoy’s- Manasquan
Debuting on May 12th, Buoy’s is now open Wednesday through Saturday from 8am-4pm and Sunday from 8am-2pm. Buoy’s offers elevated, casual breakfast and lunch options. Grab breakfast classics like a pork roll, egg, and cheese or try one of their fried chicken sandwiches, like “The Buoy,” featuring fried chicken, crispy garlic mayo, salt and pepper seasoning, pickles, and lettuce on a brioche bun.
The Break- Asbury Park
Formerly known as Langosta Lounge, The Break first opened this February. The Break is open Monday through Thursday from 11am-midnight, Friday and Saturday from 10am-2am, and Sunday from 10am-midnight. Featuring live music every weekend, the beachfront restaurant has an expansive menu and outdoor seating.
Whether you’re a local or are just visiting, the Jersey Shore is filled with amazing restaurants, and new restaurants are opening every day!
