We all know New Jersey is filled with interesting people who have interesting stories to share. As such, the Asbury Park Press invites the public to join us for the very special launch of the Jersey Storytellers Project, a night where influencers, artists, and everyday community members will tell those stories, live at The Asbury hotel.
By coming together to explore our trials and our triumphs, and the moments in between that make us laugh or give us a new perspective, the Storytellers Project will help strangers, neighbors, friends and family better understand one another, and better understand the common threads and experiences that connect us all.
It’s a night that will enrich the lives of participants and create a unique sense of pride in the place we call home.
The evenings will feature up to seven tellers sharing stories of about 8 to 10 minutes long, based literally or metaphorically on that night’s theme.
When you leave a Jersey Storytellers night, you’ll realize you have more in common with others from all walks of life, cultures and backgrounds than you ever could have imagined, and that we’re all, in some way or another, Jersey Strong.
