At The Connolly Agency, we choose non for profit organizations to support. This month we have chosen Interfaith Neighbors Inc.. They are in Asbury Park and specialize in helping people who cannot afford housing. We are so focused here at The Connolly Agency on helping buyers find their dream homes, and sellers selling their homes, that we rarely think of those who don’t have a place to call home.
On January 24th, 2018, Interfaith Neighbors will be holding a one day event called Project Homeless Connect. The purpose of this event is to provide services and donations to those who are homeless.
Interfaith Neighbors is looking for items that they can place in their essential items kits that will be given out. The following items can be donated:
- Ready to eat foods
- Water bottles
- Gloves, hats, scarves, socks
- Flashlights
- Underwear
- Toiletries, nail cutters
- Blankets
- Coupons, gift cards
- Hand warmers
- Backpacks
All donations must be given in no later than January 22nd, and they can be brought directly to 810 Fourth Ave, Asbury Park, or they can be dropped off at The Connolly Agency at 216 Main Street, Avon-by-the-Sea. We will take the donations to Interfaith Neighbors Inc.
