Spring Lake is a beautiful prestigious seashore town located on the Jersey Shore. It is commonly known as the “Jewel of the Jersey Shore” for its coastal resorts features. It is situated along the coast between Sea Girt and Belmar beaches. Spring Lake has a bustling down town with various shops, restaurants, small businesses and banks. It also hosts its own library and community theatre.

Spring Lake is home to magnificent multi-million dollar seashore estates with a medium sale price of approximately $2,000,000. It has a current population of nearly 3,000 residents and 1,253 households. The town has a k-8 elementary school known as H.W. Mountz School.

The town is surrounded by picturesque beaches, parks, and churches. Its’s home to several churches most notably Saint Catherine Church and elementary school. The beach front maintains a beautiful boardwalk with north and south beach pavilions/pools.

Spring Lake is also home to various bed and breakfast establishments as well as the Breakers Hotel and the previously run Essex and Sussex Hotel that is today an adult community condominium association.

Spring Lake is home to the Spring Lake Golf Club as well as the Spring Lake Bath and Tennis Club, both membership establishments. The town’s recreation department provides various activities including basketball, tennis, and a junior life guard program.

Spring Lake is noteworthy for its annual Spring Lake 5 Mile Run. It is also the setting for the Mary Higgins Clark novel “On the Street Where You Live”.

For high school, public school students attend Manasquan High School. In addition, Spring Lake students can attend Red Bank Regional High School, or one of the five academy nationally-ranked schools in the Monmouth County Vocational School District. There are also a variety of private and parochial schools at both the elementary and high school levels in the immediate area.

Train
Spring Lake is located along the NJ Transit North Jersey Coast Line. This line runs from Bayhead, NJ, in the south to Hoboken, NJ, Newark Penn Station, and New York City Penn Station and connects riders to Amtrack and Newark Airport.

Bus
Spring Lake is served by NJ Transit Buses with routes throughout New Jersey.

Ferry
