We are getting ready for the Avon by the Sea Turkey Trot. What a great way to spend Thanksgiving morning. Race starts at 8:30 am and the running is along Ocean Avenue from Avon thru Bradley Beach and Back. The Connolly Agency is a proud sponsor of the event. We supply the water for all runners and our logo is on the back of the Turkey Trot T-shirt.The Connolly Agency is proud to be a part of such great communities here at the Jersey Shore. We are honored to be sponsors for the Avon Pond Turkey Trot, which takes place on November 26th, Thanksgiving Day. The event will begin at the Avon Boardwalk at Woodland Avenue. Entry fees are $25 before 11/19/15 in advance or $30 on race day. Proceeds benefit the operation of the Avon Pond Ice Rink, which has become a staple in winter activities in the town of Avon. The rink is run by dedicated volunteers as well as badge sales and benefits such as this. There will be prizes for the top female and male runners as well as a prize for Best Costume! The race begins at 8:30am. Darcy’s Tavern is hosting an event the night before for runners where they can pick up their packet for the race.
