Allenhurst is a quaint little town located on the Jersey Shore. Allenhurst is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean to the East and Deal Lake to the west. It was originally part of Ocean Township.
The Borough of Allenhurst is rich in architect with homes built during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Homes were built in Victorian, Queen Anne, Italian Renaissance, Tudor, Prairie, Mission, American Craftsman, Colonial and Gothic architectural styles. The median home price is $1,080,000. It has a current population of a little fewer than 500 residents and 217 households. The town is a non-operating school district and does not have any public schools of its own. Public school students from the Borough of Allenhurst attend the Asbury Park Public Schools in Asbury Park as part of a sending/receiving relationship.
